The official language of IUMS 2026 is English.

 

Conference Time

The conference will officially run on Central European Time CET – Lisbon Time.

 

Visas

It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.

Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. We suggest you contact your local Consulate for official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedures that may apply to you.

 

Letter of Invitation

An official personalised letter of invitation will be provided to registered participants as part of the registration process. You will be able to generate an invitation letter at the end of the registration process, and you will also receive a confirmation email with a link to the invitation letter.

This invitation is prepared solely for visa applications and is not a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the scientific program.

 

Dress Code

During the entire IUMS 2024, the advised attire is business casual.

 

Guest Attendance Policy

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

 

Liability and Insurance

Please do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. Hotels strongly recommend that you use their safety deposit boxes for your valuables.

The IUMS organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants, either during or indirectly arising from the conference. Participants are advised to take out their own personal health and travel insurance for their trip.

 

Use of Camera and Video

Attendees of the IUMS 2026 Congress are required to respect the privacy of other participants and refrain from any unauthorized or unwelcomed recording or photography. Participants are not allowed to take photos or videos of scientific material shown unless express prior consent by the presenter has been ascertained. Moreover, integral recording of complete oral presentations is not allowed unless these are done by a professional entity that has been contracted for this purpose by or on behalf of the organizer.

Taking photos and recordings at the conference center for professional use is not allowed without obtaining prior permission from the organizer.

The IUMS Congresses adhere to the copyright laws guiding the appropriate sharing of scientific research material, including data. Authors’ consent may be requested by the IUMS 2024 Congress organizer in case sharing of scientific material from abstracts/posters/presentations as part of the IUMS and any of its third-party organizations for publications and educational activities.

Please be advised that a professional photographer may be taking photos of participants during the IUMS 2026 Congress. These photos may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to the IUMS website, social media, and future congress materials. By attending the congress, you consent to the use of your image in these materials.
